Volunteer

Whether you can give an hour or a whole day, we would be delighted to have your help. It takes an army of volunteers to make an event like this run successfully, so we see every volunteer as a treasure.

You'll have the opportunity to meet people from all over the country and to chat with Christian leaders and theologians who will be presenting at the conference. You'll get to see the joy on people's faces as they get answers to the questions they've pondered for a long time. And did you know that volunteering is good for your health? Studies have shown that volunteering enhances physical health and strengthens relationships!

We can use all kinds of help, so don't be shy about signing up! There are specific tasks that you can sign up for and specified time slots so you can work out your schedule. We're calling our volunteers "The 'A' Team". You can take your place on the "A Team" by signing up here. Our volunteer coordinator will follow up with you. We'll train you so you'll be well-equipped to do your task(s). Oh, and we'll also feed you well!

Greeter/ People Mover	This is the perfect volunteer job if you consider yourself a "people person". You'll be the warm, friendly face that makes people feel welcome at the conference! Catering Crew Member	If you work in this job, everyone will love you because you're making sure they get to eat! Parking Crew Member	If you love safety vests and radios, you'll love this job! Yep, that's right, you get to wear one of those brightly-colored safety vests! Your job will be to help people get into their parking places safely and help them get into the building and to the right place. Sugar Creek is a huge place, so it's easy to get turned around! The Mighty Parking Crew Members will help conference guests feel safe and secure. You need to be an early bird to handle this job because we need you there by 7:00am on Friday! House/ Stage Crew	Lights . . . Camera . . . Action! This is another job that will put you up close and personal with the speakers. You'll assist the video production team with stage setup and set changes. Assist the speakers. Are their ties straight? Is their water pitcher full? The Hostess with the Mostess	Speakers need TLC just like we all do. The "Hostess with the Mostess" is responsible for providing a warm, comfortable environment with plenty of yummy snacks and beverages in the speaker GREEN ROOM. Media Duplication and Sales	Love technology? This one's for you! You'll assist the video production crew with duplicating CDs/DVDs after the sessions to sell them to conference delegates.
